Multi sample bass using bubblesound oscillator and dr octature filter.

My childhood piano, an old german upright. Recorded using a studio projects b3 condenser mic through a presonus tubepre into an akai mpc1000. Mic'd from the top with the lid up, closer to the bass end. The piano is old and slightly out of tune, with a crack in the soundboard. The only processing was with analogx autotune to tune the samples, which did a very good job. Sampled 3 notes per octave so each sample only needs to be tuned + or - a semitone to span the whole range. It is a dark and moody sounding, a lot of character but in now way "pristine".

A recording of the weekly market on the starkenburghof in kanaleneiland, utrecht, the netherlands. Many languages can be heard. I walked around with binaural recording headphones. Recorded on a zoom h4n. Slight, quick eq'ing, could use some more.

Teeny tiny very quiet chirping birdies.

A simple multi-sampled synthetic spacebass pack, containing 25 samples, derived from 2 octaves of a home made soft-synth patch. The original quality was 24 bits with a sample rate of 88. 2khz, which i converted with a very good src to 16 bits and 44. 1khz. Not that is was that important after all considering the fact that the patch itself has a grainy character in the higher frequencies. . . No compressing, equalizing whatsoever involved, the panning is pretty wide tho, with left and right sounding rather different, but in stereo it still feels pretty balanced i think.

The inspiration for this track came from a stereo cross-fading delay patch for modular synths i found, created using caustic 3. 2 with my akai mpk mini keyboard as usb-midi controller with a bit of a tangerine dream style.

Something i created for a slightly creepy soundscape and used to replace roomtone. Recorded using external midi on logic pro x.

My first upload - have fun!. This audio file contains two cylindrical objects colliding with each other repeatedly, which makes a loud bonk sound.
